Teachers Bio's

Barbara Bergsten
Barbara, owner of Barbara Bergsten Designs, has been designing and teaching for three years. Uncomplicated, clear colors best describe her designs. she wants the "stitcher" to know what color goes where. Barbara developed Painted Stitches because it is easy to learn specialty stitches for any level "stitcher." The steps are painted on the canvas! She believes a simple canvas can become a complicated finished piece by adding interesting stitches and threads.
